ENVIRA History

ENVIRA began as a local waste management company in 2001 and has quickly grown to become a leading nationwide recycling company. Click on the arrows beside each key date to read about some of the key steps in the continued growth of ENVIRA Recycling.

2004

In 2004, after steady growth, the company relocated to larger premises in Cradley Heath and expanded its recycling capabilities to include waste papers and cardboard.

2007

There then followed 3 years of further growth resulting in the need to move to larger premises in Bilston, the companies capacity had now increased to 20,000 tonnes per year of assorted recyclable waste.

2010

In March of 2010 the company acquired a three acre site in Kelvin Way, West Bromwich and again invested in further machinery, thus continuing the companies' aim of offering a friendly and professional waste management service to all of its existing and potential new customers.

2011

In 2011 the company invested nearly £1 million in new advanced baling and processing equipment as well as several of our own trucks and trailers to further improve the service we offer our customers and to continually increase our list of satisfied customers.

2012

2012 saw investment in our plastic factory to increase production to over 35 million bags per month. A Comprehensive staff training program that has resulted in all senior operation staff qualified to WAMITAB standard, and Envira named as the preferred sole supplier of recycling services to a large multinational company and several waste management companies.

2013

2013 We are working hard towards our ISO14001 accreditation. This will assure our customers new and old of our commitment to Environmental process and quality. Also this year will bring large expansion in our plant and staffing to deal with extra types of materials processed and larger volumes.

2014

So far in 2014 we have been accredited by ACS Registrars our ISO 9001 for quality ISO 14001 for Environment and OHAS 18001 for our health and safety practises. we have also just taken delivery of the second truck mounted fork lift to the fleet with a brand new Moffett to enable more customers to benefit from on time self load collections.
